Who we are

Restocker (“the app”) is a Shopify application operated by Beneficial Exchange Inc that provides back-in-stock notifications and pre-order functionality for Shopify stores. Contact: support@restockerapp.com.

What we collect, and why

• Shopper email addresses submitted through the “email me when it’s back” form, together with the product and variant requested — used solely to send the requested restock notification.
• Notification records — a log of each notification we attempt (recipient, product, time, delivery status), kept so merchants can verify what was sent.
• Store information — the store domain and the data Shopify provides an installed app (product titles, inventory levels), used to operate the app's features.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.
• We do not use shopper emails for marketing.
• We do not track shoppers across sites.

Processors

Emails are delivered via Resend (resend.com). Application data is stored on our hosting provider's infrastructure.

Retention and deletion

• Shoppers can unsubscribe via the link in every notification email.
• When a merchant uninstalls the app, all the store's data (waitlists, notification logs, credentials) is deleted in accordance with Shopify's data-deletion timeline.
• We honor Shopify's GDPR webhooks: customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction.
